3rd Win of the 2015 Season For The Season and Second Win at Beaver Dam
Johnny Kringas back in Victory Lane for the 3rd time in the 2015 Season. Lead for the final two laps earning the win.
Johnny stayed in the top 2-5 places during most of the race, battling cars who also wanted the win, while the leader of the race went unchallenged and opened a gap between himself and the pack behind him.
On the late race restart about lap 17 Johnny started on the outside row in 3rd place, Johnny had a strong restart and pulled ahead by lap 18, expanding his lead when he took the white flag, coming out of two and down the backstretch of 3 Johnny scraped the wall but came back strong to the finish line for the win.
Although Mickey was not at the track in person, he never the less made presences, professionalism and spirit be known. While in Colorado visiting friends, for a much deserved vacation, he texted Johnny many times throughout the day/night advising and was kept informed of everything that was happening and was informed within seconds of the win. Mickey had everything worked out, had had substitute crew chief Nelson Stewart overseeing Johnny and handling tech.
Shout out to The Park Avenue Sports Cafe:
After the race we went to our favorite restaurant the Park Avenue a short drive from the track to celebrate. We were greeted at the door by Ali as usual the food was AWESOME!
This is a must visit restaurant if you are Beaver Dam, we go there every chance we can. Even if Johnny does not win, if we are spending the night and the Park Avenue is open, we are there.
The breakfast is also wonderful!
No matter morning, afternoon or night, they make everyone feel welcome.
Ali and Billy and all of your crew thanks for the memories, good times, making feel us welcome, valued and the AWESOME food!!!!!
