Tracks Kringas Motorsports races at and things we do while in these areas
Johnny races mostly in Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. As well as national events when possible.

Kringas Motorsports was in Wisconsin over 25 weekends in 2014 and 2015 so where do people from Illinois add to the WI economy. Last year, we mostly weekends we end up in Beaver Dam starting Friday night, for the Saturday Night show, dirt race at Beaver Dam Raceway.

The things we do and where we spend our money in Beaver Dam WI, while not at the track. They are our favorite, none are sponsors but they are quality products we wanted to share. We would love them to be sponsors, so maybe support them more or tell them you seen it on Kringas Motorsports and you never know.

The nicest people, cleanest rooms, super comfortable beds and super killer hotel breakfast, at an extremely fare rate. What more could you ask for when rolling in at 3AM from another track hours away. We stay there so much that they even make sure we have our favorite pillows on each of our beds when we arrive. Cannot rave about this place too much!

Anywhere in WI
Awesome food and every one we stop at has the friendliest workers. During the race season we literally eat 3-4 meals a weekend at one of these locations. They make racing enjoyable, easy in and out to get diesel and order a hot fresh meal at any time of the day. Just ask us we know there menu by heart, from burgers on pretzel bread, to the best chicken tender sandwich with bacon and cheese, pizza, hot dogs and brats. This is just a small group of the great food choices they offer. The bakery is spectacular, from the banana squares, pies to Johnny’s favorite the Glazers (a glazed donut). On the way home we load up for the week as Johnny gets a few dozen of Glazer’s and chicken tender sandwiches to share with his friends who could not make the trip. We know wherever we see a Kwik Trip sign it is going to be great food and a great prices, hot and fresh.
P.S. do not tell anyone but this is where we get Johnny’s race fuel. Just keep that quite.

We love us a Taco Bell, but this one in Beaver Dam is special, led by manager Lisa, this place is one of the best Taco Bell’s we have eaten at. We have found out that not all Taco Bell’s are the same, sorry Taco Bell, but this one is exceptional. Not many places to eat after being on the road for a few hours, after midnight, traveling from another race trace but this place is so good, we eat there a lot. Easy to get the truck and trailer in and out. We really appreciate the late night crew, for always make great hot food. May not sound like a lot, but to us it is, sometimes these wonderful hard working people do not get the recondition they deserve.
FYI we think Taco Dave is one lucky Dude (he is sponsored by Taco Bell, Beaver Dam) and is a really cool. We still do not quite know how he squeezed into Johnny’s Legend race car seat when we were not looking but he did. We got a picture of it

This place is amazing, we go here for lunch and a late dinner after the race. This place is perfect, the soup and anything on the menu we have ordered has been great. We look forward to going here to celebrate after a good night at Beaver Dam Raceway, well sometimes after a not so great night as well, the food and service is great. We have known other people who also enjoy the bar. This is about as high end food as we need, and the prices are very reasonable.
Chances are you will find us here after a race if we have a Sunday race we will be heading too.

Johnny drives Us Legend Cars, 1934 Ford Coupes on both dirt and asphalt. Link will explain a little about the cars and organization and types of cars.

Our favorite place to go for breakfast in Beaver Dam, we have met other racers here for a late Sunday morning breakfast in route to another race track. To say Walkers has a GREAT breakfast is an understatement. It is something of a must do if you want an exceptional breakfast, in Beaver Dam WI.

We very much like Impact Race products, Johnny’s suit, helmet, gloves, and shoes are all Impact.
Robbie Pierce the owner of Impact is a wonderful person, a racer who supports racers by creating and offering wonderful driver safety equipment. Everyone we have met associated with Impact are super quality people who have a passion for helping equip drivers with the safety equipment they need.

Jeff Jordan, runs a business the services the chassis, rear ends and tires needs of Legend Car racers, offering services and products with of the highest quality and service. He also sells new and used parts. He has helped both Johnny and Mickey with parts and advice.

Cedar Rapids Iowa,
Have Friday night races on Asphalt with the Legend, do not know how many races we will make there this year but it is a possibility.

Track under new ownership, they have Friday night races on Asphalt with the Legend cars being there often.

Beaver Dam WI
Saturday night racing every week on dirt on Saturday nights. We plan on making as many of these as possible.

Sun Prairie WI
One of the coolest dirt tracks around, this is a Sunday night race on Dirt. The Legend cars will be there for a number of races this year and we hope to make them when there.

The world’s finest and most respected fine instrument shop. Ok, we really do not buy multi-million violins, in fact no one on the crew plays an instrument. But we do respect them, and honored to be best friends with the Fushi family, who come to the races to watch Johnny and hang out.

you may want to check out if you want to get a little culture, (we know we are extremely short of this ourselves) it identifies some of the most talented classical artist in the world as members. Bet you thought racing is expensive?

We know a lot of very talented photographers, one of them earns our respect as being the BEST. Bob comes to the races, travels with us when he has the chance, was Johnny’s confirmation sponsor and is super funny dude. He does not take too himself serious, always willing to share, a generous man, who has a great family and we are proud to be friends with. Paul lives with his family in Los Angeles CA, so making it to the races is a bit tough for them. Ironically he was born and raised in Columbus WI, where last year Johnny raced Columbus 151 on Asphalt, the track has since closed. But Paul a tremendously talented photographer and lifelong friend of ours dating back to 1984 who also happens to by Johnny’s godfather.

Most Important is respecting other and giving back. Although we do not have sponsors at this time, we find a way to help support the following. It is not only the right thing to do but shows us how lucky we are to be able to go to the race track on the weekends.

US Military
Fact nobody reading this would be able to do it if not for the men and women for fight to project us, who have served in the US Military. We can sleep at night and enjoy our days because of their sacrifice. Many members of the US Military have been wounded while fighting to protect us. We need to support them, it is the right thing to do.
4 out of 5 warriors have a friend who was killed in action or seriously wounded.

Concerns of Police Survivors
This organization provides support for, the 140 and 160 officers are killed each year in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives. 

Warren Ropp from Bull Town Legends organizes a race each year to help raise funds for this organization, Kringas Motorsports has supported the C.O.P.S. race for the past four races in various ways. Johnny has raced the past two events 2013 and 2014 in Knoxville IA, during the Knoxville Nationals and Michael “Mickey” Kudlicki raced the 2014 race, almost winning the race. Johnny has the names of Illinois State Police officer James Sauter and Crest Hill, IL officer Timothy Simenson displayed on his car to raise awareness for the C.O.P.S. organization, Mickey has the name of Riverdale IL, Officer William “Wally” Rolniak, Jr.
